Way back in 2008 Christian and Amiee had one class together their senior year of high school, and it was creative writing. He would come in every class, give Amiee a hug and they flirted for the whole year. They both liked each other but they never did or said anything about it. They graduated in 2009, and went their separate ways.
Over the years they would bump into each other a few times at the Sherman Theater when Amiee would go to concerts with her dad. He popped up on the TV screen back in 2014 while Amiee was at her neighbors house while he was on The Voice, and my dad also recognized his appearance at the Pocono 500 to sing the national anthem.
One day in 2016, Amiee was at work and one of Christian’s songs came on her iPod while at work. She thought what the hell, shoot him a text and just see how he’s doing. Later on that evening he texted her back and they started catching up on each others lives.
Then on June 26th while she was at the beach with her girlfriends, Christian texted Amiee to ask her if she wanted to go on a date. More specifically to go see Finding Dory. She rushed home from the beach and got ready within 10 minutes to go on their first date. Christian picked her up and they headed to the movies. From the beginning it just felt like they picked up where they left off, really great friends.
They ended up talking and hanging out until about 3am under the stars in the warm summer air. From that point on, they just kept spending more and more time together.
Christian proposed on June 6th of 2023 in Rocky Mountain National Park. Amiee had no idea and could not keep herself together for about 10 minutes. This was the moment that would change everything.
Over the last 8 years they have expanded their careers, traveled around the country, and decided to take the leap and try their hands at a new living adventure in Colorado. They are thrilled to be tying the knot this August, and they can’t wait to party with you!
